Valentia Edetanorum, from the Latin Valentia, ‘bravery’ and Edetanorum, ‘in the Edetania region’, is the name given to a Roman city. It was founded by Roman settlers on one of the terraces of the Turia and is considered a classic Roman city in all its conceptions and a strategic place near the sea, a fluvial island where the Via Augusta passed. The wine has wanted to preserve the wine tradition of the land, presenting a variety of its own wines, with original grapes and, as it could not be otherwise, with the certification of Protected Denomination of Origin Utiel – Requena.

Valentia Edetanorum, del latín Valentia, ‘valor’ y Edetanorum, ‘en la región de Edetania’, es el nombre que recibió una ciudad romana. Fue fundada por los colonos romanos sobre una de las terrazas del Turia y es considerada una ciudad clásicamente romana en todas sus concepciones y un lugar estratégico cerca el mar, una isla fluvial por donde pasaba la Via Augusta. El vino ha querido conservar toda la tradición vitícola y vinícola de la tierra, presentando una variedad de vinos propios, con uva originaria y, como no podía ser de otra forma, con la certificación de Denominación de Origen Protegida Utiel – Requena.
